Say ‘I do’ in Bartley Lodge’s Landscaped Garden
This summer be amongst the first to experience the true charm of an outdoor wedding ceremony in Bartley Lodge’s grade II garden. Perfectly framed by an ancient oak tree, landscaped grounds and blooming flora, enjoy tranquil views of the New Forest National Park from every angle.
Wander through the house’s original entrance and say ‘I do’ under the naturally crafted rustic tree arch with 80 of your nearest and dearest bearing witness. Wooden benches draped in blankets blend rustic charm and romanticism, making the perfect backdrop to style. Vintage barrels act as the perfect placeholder for an outdoor drink’s reception, whilst the wedding party wander the grounds and New Forest terrace. Before stepping inside to enjoy their reception in the Baronial Hall, complete with deep wooden panelling, tapestries and twinkling chandeliers.
What happens if the weather turns?
The ultimate decision to move your wedding ceremony lies with the registrars, however on days where the weather appears slightly temperamental, our Crystal Room will be set-up in the off chance your outdoor ceremony cannot go ahead.
Will our outdoor ceremony be private?
We cannot guarantee complete privacy during your outdoor ceremony as the grounds, unless exclusively hired, are open for guests to wander.
Can I play music in the grounds?
We have a complete sound system connected to Bartley Lodge, meaning music can be played during your outdoor ceremony.
Do you allow confetti onsite?
Yes we allow biodegradable, real, fresh or dried petals
Can we set up the night prior?
Due to being a popular venue we cannot guarantee access until the morning of your wedding. We always recommend using suppliers who are experienced and dedicated to dressing the space on the day. This takes the stress away and give you more time with your family and friends.
